HELP Gtx560 or Gtx570?

The gtx 560 costs $185

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130661

gtx570 costs $320

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130621

Which one is the most bang for my buck? Why is the gtx570 so much more $? What is the major difference between the cards when playing games??|||Why not go for a GTX 560 TI - they're like $20-30 more and somewhere in between.

The 570 is a premium card (well all the GTX series are) but the 560 are the entry level to the high end hence much cheaper - the 570/580 are the top end of the single GPU Nvidia lineup hence come at more of a premium.

For a rough comparision of what you listed and what i've suggested -

Chip - Cores - Core Clock - Shader Clock

GTX 570 - 480 Cores - 732 Mhz - 1464 Mhz

GTX 560 TI OC - 384 Cores - 900 Mhz - 1800 Mhz

GTX 560 - 336 Cores - 850 Mhz - 1700 Mhz

The TI i listed is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as… for $234 or you could go the Palit non OC version for $219 both of these cards offer excellent bang for buck.

In most games you likely won't notice a huge difference between any of these cards @ 1920 x 1080 with moderate AA settings and max detail. Put it this way I run a GTX 280 + GT220 (i7 875k, vertex 2 ssd, 12gb ram) driving 3 monitors and I haven't had to drop detail settings down much from maximum on any games, so any of these cards would be more than adequate.

The GTX 560 TI will run at 80%+ of the speed of the GTX 570 and the GTX 560 ~70%+ of the speed of the GTX 570.

At the moment graphics cards are insanely over powered for the jobs they're doing - high end cards are quite capable of rendering most games at 2 x 1920x1080 (1.5-2gb cards anyway) and having very playable frame rates. I would recommend going for the 560 TI if budget is a constraint. Those cards u listed both have a $20 mail in rebate atm by the looks :P might be worth considering the 570. Honestly though you will not be disappointed with any of the cards - they're all great - I haven't had the opportunity of testing a 560 but it would be roughly equivalent to my GTX 280 (but use less powe and run cooler) so I don't think you'd be disappointed in that either =)|||GTX570 = 2 x GTX560

GTX590 = 2 x GTX570

So, you basically get a doubled performance at not exactly doubled the price.

If i upgrade my processor will it increase my graffics card performance?

I just bought a gtx560 ti and i still have a very crappy processor in my computer its only a dual core. if i get a 5 core will it increase the overall performance of my videocard so i can get max effects and will it also increase the fps?|||There is no 5 core processors. Only quad (4) core.

And yes. It would increase you performance|||There isnt any 5 core proccy available. You can get a Quad Core i.e 4 Core or a Hexa Core i.e 6 core. And yes, a Quad Core or a Hexa Core will surely better performance.|||Yes it would, but for optimal performance you could install a better graphics card as well.|||You may need more RAM,or faster RAM.

Which one should I go for? A gtx560 2gb or gtx560ti 1gb?

Please help I'm at a loss here both have the same price this is for desktop pc

Thanx|||GTX 560 ti 1 GB, very few games use more than 1 GB of ram at 1080p and lower. I would recommend that you spend a bit more and buy a 570/6970 though.|||I'll bet the quality and clock speed of the 1gb GTX 560ti is a lot better. You don't need more than 1gb of VRAM with the GTX 560ti unless you're suing a 2560x1600 monitor or a dual monitor setup.

What is a good gaming desktop build for under 1000$?

First time building my own pc. What would be good components for me who only have 750~1000$ for hardware and case.

I already have a gtx560 i wish to use for it, and need sli capability. So pls recommend accordingly. Thanks!|||if you want some help choosing parts send an E-mail with your budget and your monitor resolution "size" and games you want to play and if you want windows version with the budget and other preference and specifications like if you want another gtx 560 for SLI or you don't need one because you already have one and if you want parts like hard disk and dvd burner or you going to take parts from another desktop .. etc , and i will send you back an e-mail with a complete list of links of the best combination of parts that will suit you and your budget.|||Go into your local store!|||This article might help

http://www.pcworld.com/article/238006/bu…|||quad core six core or 8 core 8 gb of ram the video card you have :) amd brand motherboard evga video card

that is about it you have a gaming system stick with asus biostar or gigabyte motherboards

How to connect nvidia geforce gtx560 to a LCD monitor?card is having only HDMI plug..?

well if your monitor is full hd alreayd? you only need the HDMI plug if you want the HD audio etc, but if you have good speakers then it wouldnt be a problem :) and if you DONT have a DVI port...and that you must us HDMI, go buy a HDMI to DVI connector :) and that would solve your problems easy!

EVGA nVidia GeForce GTX560 Ti Superclocked 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E VS SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON HD6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E?

torn between the two. which is better? ive read that the ati uses less wattage.|||http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgR7pZlPI…

grab the 1gb 6950. it's the same at 1920x1080 as it's 2gb variant. they are both similar. find specific games basically, otherwise they basically tie on performance summary. 6950 might squeek out 5% ahead. go with the best warranty and the cheapest.

Old video card. I'd like to upgrade, to nVidia GTX560 TI but from which manufacturer?

I want to upgrade my video card to nVidia GTX560 TI.

I'd like to buy nVidia, but i cant find in my country. So here are the candidates:

ASUS ENGTX560TI DCII/2DI/1GD5

MSI NVIDIA GTX560TI 1GB/256B N560GTX-TI TWIN FROZRII/OC

GIGABYTE NVIDIA GTX560 1GB N560OC-1GI

I was going for the Gigabyte gtx650 soc but its out of stock.

HELP PLEASE !

Vote for any of them, or give me your opinion about any of them or just say something that you my think might help.

Oh one more thing. I have a deluxe 500W power supply is it good for any of them?

Thank you in advance.|||I'd go with the ASUS. You'll need a better PSU for that card. I'd suggest 600-650 watt to give you some headroom. Make sure it has the necessary amps on the 12 v rail too and is high efficiency 80+|||I'd like to recommend to you ASUS.They are very good and have a long life and good cooling system..I had 2 ASUS cards until now..
