How much Ram should i put on? 8gb ddr3?|||for 3d max i would get a i7 core as its CAD work, and i would get the 2600k as its newer and has a nicer architecture and less levels.
as for graphics card, CUDA cores annoying still aren't integrated into most CAD programs, unlike stream processors that are as they have been round for an extra 18 months.
grab a card with stream technology such as the ati 5770 hd or better, or even better would be a GPGPU from ATi|||Why not look at the AMD Phenom II X6, 6 cores are better.
The more ram the better and the better the graphics card the better.
